Go through the main entrance to MuseumsQuartier past the porter’s desk, take the stairs up on the left-hand side to the mezzanine level, then turn right. If you are coming from inside MuseumsQuartier, enter through the main entrance from the main courtyard by MQ Daily and then take the stairs up on the right.

Evening box offices
The evening box offices open one hour before the performance starts at the respective venues.
Discounts
School pupils, apprentices, people doing military or civilian service, students (under 27) and people aged 60 and over
receive performance tickets in the reduced-price category (approx. 15 %) at the day box offices, online and via the call centre. When attending a performance, the relevant proof of eligibility must be presented at admission together with the ticket. Discounts cannot be claimed retrospectively or at the evening box offices.
ImPulsTanz workshop and research participants
receive a 10 % discount on performance tickets, on ImPulsTanz Country Retreats and a further discount on the ImPulsTanz Party at the Rathaus Arkadenhof at the day box offices, online and via the telephone ticket service. With the workshop pass, only one reduced-price ticket per production may be claimed. The workshop pass must be presented at admission. The discount is not valid retrospectively or at the evening box offices and cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g. DER STANDARD subscriber advantage card, Ö1 Club card, AK AktivKarte). In addition, ImPulsTanz workshop and research participants enjoy free admission every evening and a fast lane at the ImPulsTanz Festival Lounge in the Burgtheater vestibule.
Wheelchair users / accompanying persons
receive a 65% discount for themselves and one accompanying person on wheelchair spaces following telephone pre-booking on +43.1.235 00 22 or by email to ticketservice@impulstanz.com (no later than three days before the performance). Selected wheelchair spaces can also be booked online via our ticketing system. However, we recommend contacting our team for flexible and detailed advice on the available wheelchair spaces. We are also happy to help with individual requests (e.g. several accompanying persons) and provide information about local conditions. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Holders of a disability pass
People with a degree of disability of 50 % or more receive a 65 % discount when purchasing tickets at the ImPulsTanz day box offices on presentation of their disability pass. It is also possible to link the discount to your customer account in the online ticketing system, enabling you to book online independently. To do so, please send us a scan of your proof of eligibility by email to ticketservice@impulstanz.com. If particular seats are required (e.g. due to a visual or mobility impairment), our team will be happy to assist you. A discount for an accompanying person can only be granted if this is stated on the pass. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. When attending a performance, the relevant proof of eligibility must be presented at admission together with the ticket.
Holders of an AK AktivKarte, Ö1 Club card, Ö1 Intro card, mumok annual pass, DER STANDARD subscriber advantage card or premium customers of the KURIER benefits programme
receive a 10 % discount on the respective price category for up to two people per production (available only at the day box offices on presentation of the membership card; the Ö1 discount is also available online in the ticket basket after seat selection). For productions with several performance dates, the discount applies to one performance date only. Only one of the above discounts may be claimed per person. It is not possible to combine this with other promotions (e.g. the early bird special) or discounts. In addition, the AK AktivKarte discount cannot be combined with reduced-price tickets (e.g. for people aged 60 and over or students).
Raiffeisenbank account holders
from Vienna or Lower Austria receive a 10 % discount on the respective price category for up to two people per production at the day box offices, via the call centre and online (the discount only becomes visible in the shopping basket in the booking summary). The Raiffeisenbank cash card must be presented at admission.
Please note that all discounts and reductions cannot be claimed retrospectively or at the evening box offices.
[8:tension] subscription – THE CONTEMPORARY SUBSCRIPTION
Available again from June:
- TAKE THREE: 20 % discount when booking three [8:tension] productions of your choice together.
- TAKE SIX: 30 % discount when booking six [8:tension] productions of your choice together.
- TAKE NINE OR MORE: 40 % discount when booking nine or more [8:tension] productions together.
As soon as several [8:tension] productions have been selected, the subscriptions and therefore the discounts are applied automatically in the shopping basket. When booking, it is important that all [8:tension] tickets are booked in a single purchase transaction; unfortunately, it is not possible to add more later. The subscription cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g. DER STANDARD subscriber advantage card, Ö1 Club card, AK AktivKarte).
Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur
With support from the Innovationsfonds of Licht ins Dunkel, ImPulsTanz 2026 is making a limited contingent of performance tickets available through the Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur initiative. Subject to availability, Kulturpass holders may receive one ticket each for a maximum of three different events. These reservations are available on 5 July 2026 between 14:00 and 19:00 at the ImPulsTanz Ticket Office in MuseumsQuartier and from 6 July 2026 between 11:45 and 19:00 both by email to ticketservice@impulstanz.com and in person at the ImPulsTanz Ticket Office in MuseumsQuartier on presentation of a valid Kulturpass and photo ID – while the ticket contingent lasts. The Kulturpass is not valid for special events such as closed events. If remaining tickets are available, it is also possible to claim one ticket per person for a maximum of three additional different events at the ImPulsTanz evening box offices. Tickets cannot be transferred to other persons.
Processing your ticket purchase
When purchasing online or by telephone, you can choose between five options for receiving your tickets:
1) Print@Home
If you have selected “Print@Home” as the delivery method, you will receive an email with your tickets within 15 minutes of purchase. If in doubt, please also check your spam folder.
2) Mobile ticket
If you open the Print@Home link on a smartphone, you can load your ticket or tickets into the wallet on your smartphone. On iPhones, a wallet is installed as standard – on Android, a wide range of free apps such as “PassWallet” or “Pass2U” are available for this.
3) Postal delivery
Your ordered tickets will be sent to the address provided when placing the order. The following postage charges apply per purchase transaction: Austria and Europe 4 euro. Tickets can be sent out up to a maximum of eight days before the first booked performance.
4) Collection at the day box offices
Collection of your booked tickets at the ImPulsTanz day box offices is free of charge. Please have your booking code ready.
5) Collection at the evening box office
For making your tickets available at the evening box office of the first booked performance, we charge a flat fee of 2 euro per purchase transaction. Please have your booking code ready when collecting them. Our evening box offices open one hour before the performance starts at the respective venue. We recommend collecting your tickets in good time before the start of the performance, as late admission is generally no longer possible.
